The bottom line: I would recommend this grill to anyone who wants to get the quality of a restaurant in your own backyard. Full review We purchased this grill from ABT for $499 when they were having a BBQ sale. We placed the order and it came within four days, the two guys set it up and attached the line within a half hour. We paid $650 for our MHP grill that was only three years old before it started giving out. They mentioned something about leaving all three burners on for twenty minutes in order to clean the stainless steel and break in the grill. Needless to say that this grill gets very hot, even the handle gets midly hot, but definately not something to worry about. Our old MHP grill didn't get this hot, but it also didn't cook the food as well. I would recommend warming up the grill for five to ten minutes with all three burners on high. The MHP grill used ceramic briquettes which supposedly would give the food more flavor and in my opinion it dried the food out. The instructions are fairly specific, direct heat for some food, and indirect methods for others(Indirect methods are great for turkeys and other foods that need to be cooked for a duration of time and not directly on the flame so they don't se mhp grill
